Sabrina Fletcher
Field Investigator
(In Training)

Sabrina retired after 32 years working at the Lawrence Livermore National Lab as an Illustrator, Animator, Photographer, and Videographer. Over that period, she was a member of a team doing dynamic research at HEAF (High Explosive Application Facility). That required processing data, including x-rays and high-speed video using a Phantom Camera V2511 taking images at speeds of 30,000 – 100,000 frames per second. Working at the lab included processing data and creating imagery, animations and video’s for different research disciplines including: Atmospheric (NARAC), Earth Sciences (E & ED), Lasers (NIF), Bio-Engineering Department (BED), the Technical Information Department (TID), and more.

Sabrina was the Vice President of an all-women’s motorcycle riding club called Curve Unit in the San Francisco Bay Area for more than 18 years. One of the focuses of the club was raising money for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation (PBTF), and encouraging safe riding among the riding community, not only on the street but promoting riding with instructors at Track Days.

Those experiences were foundational for working with teams of people in research and reaching out to the community.
